Send campaigns on the channel people read in each market

SEND delivers SMS, MMS, WhatsApp and Viber campaigns to the contacts you own. These are the inboxes people open for family and friends, so your message gets read there too. We choose the channel with you country by country, handle every registration, and report each send per contact.

One offer delivered as an SMS, a WhatsApp message and a Viber message on three phones

Trusted by teams that sell everywhere

Channels

Four channels, one audience

SMS, MMS, WhatsApp and Viber, sent to the same audience with the same consent record. The channel still changes country by country, because it has to. Nothing else does.

SMS

The US, Canada, and a fallback everywhere

The only channel available for marketing in the United States and Canada, and a fallback in every other market.

MMS

Image messaging in the US

Image plus text, with the same tracking as SMS. Used in the United States, where image messaging lifts response.

WhatsApp

Europe, Latin America, India and the Middle East

Rich templates, media, buttons, and replies your team can answer. Wherever the channel is permitted, and not available for marketing to US numbers.

Viber

Ukraine and the Balkans

Rich messages with images, buttons and a branded sender, delivered through LINK Mobility.

Channel guide

The right channel for every market

No single channel works everywhere. Here is what we send in each market, and why. The contact base and the consent record stay the same.

Spain, Italy and the Netherlands
WhatsApp first

It is the default messenger, so your offer lands where customers already chat every day.

Flags of Czechia and Slovakia
Czechia and Slovakia
WhatsApp first, Viber as a test

WhatsApp is the main messenger in both markets. Viber holds real share too, so a split test is worth running.

Flags of Brazil, India and the United Arab Emirates
Brazil, India and the UAE
WhatsApp first

It is the primary channel for customer messaging in all three.

Flag of Germany
Germany
WhatsApp, with careful consent

It works well, but the opt-in wording needs extra care.

Flag of Poland
Poland
WhatsApp, early

Few brands have WhatsApp consent yet, so your message gets read in minutes.

Flags of the United Kingdom and France

SMS first, WhatsApp as a test

SMS still leads, so we run both and let the results decide.

Flags of the United States and Canada

SMS and MMS

Meta paused WhatsApp marketing to US numbers in April 2025. We handle 10DLC registration.

Flags of Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and Serbia

Viber

It is the everyday messenger in Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and Serbia.

One supplier

One contract, one integration, every market you sell in

Messaging to phones used to mean a separate supplier in every country. We cover all of them with one contract, one integration and one report.

One supplier instead of twelve

A brand selling in twelve countries buys SMS twelve times, from twelve local aggregators, with twelve contracts, integrations, sender registrations and reports that cannot be summed. We replace that with one of each. The channel still changes country by country, because it has to. Nothing else does.

We operate the infrastructure, we do not resell it

Routes, sender IDs and delivery reporting are ours to control, which is what makes a delivery commitment worth anything. 2way holds telecommunications operator registration in the EU and runs US 10DLC traffic through its own TextGrid connectivity. When a message fails, it gets diagnosed at carrier level instead of forwarded to a supplier.

Delivery health

Numbers that stop being reachable are identified and suppressed automatically, so campaign cost tracks the audience that actually exists rather than the audience the file claims.

Built in

What every campaign runs with

No add-ons to buy and no settings to remember. These run on every send.

Reminders that follow intent

Reminders triggered by an unused discount code after 7 and 21 days, by an abandoned basket, or by a missing app install. Sent at the moment intent is highest, not on a monthly calendar.

Quiet hours per state

Send windows are enforced in the recipient's own time zone, per US state, in line with TCR guidance and carrier policy. A campaign approved centrally cannot land at 6am in California because it was scheduled at lunchtime in Europe.

Two-way numbers

Recipients can reply, and the reply goes somewhere. Through our Text app it arrives in the agent's normal inbox alongside web chats, and the agent's answer goes back out as an SMS.

Links on your domain, opt-out that works

Shortened links run on your own domain, so the recipient recognizes the sender before clicking. Opt-out is automatic, honored across every channel, and available in every language we send in.

Segmentation by source

Every contact carries its acquisition source, store, city, country and campaign as tags. Segments are built on where the customer came from, not only on what they bought.

Test groups

Split an audience and run different creative, different channels or a holdout group in the same send window. Each contact still receives exactly one message per cycle.

Attribution

Every contact reports its own revenue

The argument that survives a budget review. Not open rates, but money traced from a specific sign-up to a specific purchase.

One code per person

Each contact receives an individual discount code, tracked from sign-up to completed purchase. You see who redeemed it, where they signed up and what the basket was worth.

One identifier per sign-up point

Every sticker, QR code, popup and landing page carries its own identifier. Reporting goes down to a single shop, a single event, a single placement, by city, venue and campaign.

Recovered revenue on its own line

Contacts who haven't used their code get a reminder after 7 and 21 days. The revenue those reminders bring back is reported separately, so you see what the follow-up added.

What WhatsApp marketing returns across 382 brands

Chatarmin, a WhatsApp marketing platform, published figures from 49.3 million campaign messages sent by 382 brands between June 2025 and June 2026. They are market figures, not 2way results. Your own pilot is where the real number comes from.

A customer's SMS reply arriving in the support agent's chat inbox next to web chats
Case study: Custom Ink

350,000 messages, and the replies land in the agent's inbox

Custom Ink runs a high-volume US ecommerce operation with a live chat team already in place. Chat solves problems while a customer is on the site. The moment they close the tab, the conversation used to end.

  • An order confirmation when the order is placed, and a shipping notification with the tracking number when the courier collects it

  • About one in ten recipients replies, and every reply reaches an agent

  • Replies land in the Text inbox the agent already works in, next to web chats

  • 10DLC registration with TCR and quiet hours per state handled by 2way

Works with the tools you already use

Contacts and their consent belong in the systems your teams already use. Today that means two published apps, webhooks and a documented API. No page of logos for connectors that are really a roadmap.

Zapier logo

Zapier

Connects 2way to several thousand tools, including every major CRM, without an engineering ticket. New sign-ups, consents and redeemed codes can trigger workflows in the tools your team already uses.

Text logo

Text

Makes SMS two-way. Customer replies land in the agent's Text inbox next to web chats, and the agent's answer goes back out as an SMS.

Webhooks

New sign-ups, SMS replies, redeemed discount codes, opt-outs and delivery events, pushed to your endpoint as they happen. You choose which events trigger an update.

REST API

Write contacts into 2way from your own systems, and read contacts, consents, discount codes and campaign results back out.

Questions about SEND

SMS is too expensive

It is, in most markets, which is why we do not use it for campaigns there. Across most of Europe your campaigns go over WhatsApp or Viber. SMS is for one-time codes, and for the markets where it is still the right channel, which includes the United States and Canada. The other half of the answer is that a cheap message to a number nobody verified costs more than an expensive one to a customer who opted in. Price per message is not where this is won or lost.

Can we run WhatsApp marketing in the United States?

No, and any vendor telling you otherwise is selling you a problem. Meta paused marketing templates to US numbers in April 2025 and has not lifted the pause. For the United States the channel is SMS and MMS, with 10DLC brand and campaign registration through TCR, which we handle. WhatsApp and Viber are the right choices across Europe, market by market.

We have a local SMS provider in every market, and they know their market

They do, and that is exactly the problem. Each one knows one market and none of them owns the program. Twelve contracts, twelve integrations, twelve sets of numbers that do not add up, and nobody who can tell you whether Spain outperformed Poland. We are one contract across all of them, and we still pick the channel country by country, because that part does have to stay local.

Legal will never approve WhatsApp

Ask them what specifically worries them. Usually it is the transfer to Meta. We have the processor chain and the transfer basis documented, so it is a review rather than a research project, and we can send it before the meeting. You stay the controller throughout. We give you the consent records, the DPA and the per-market configuration so that being the controller is not a full-time job.

Who owns the WhatsApp Business Account?

You do. It is registered in your name, with 2way acting as Meta Tech Provider. If you leave, it goes with you.
